  • Psyonix, the game developer behind the wildly popular Rocket League, released a statement explaining a new party system that is coming to the game soon.The new party mode will be launched first on PC to fix bugs and glitches, while consoles will get a later release. This new party system implements PsyNet integration for players, meaning that parties will be set up through in-game. No longer will you need to go through Steam, Playstation Network, or Xbox Live. Playing with players cross-console will be much easier and will make gameplay less laggy. If you are a solo player and don’t care about the update, then no problem Rocket League Crates. With the update being pushed in-game, it won’t impact your gameplay.

As well, Psyonix has already stated that there will be more in-game events like the past Halloween event.“There’s a plan for a new Events System, which will introduce events available for a limited time. These events will reward a player with the chance to obtain more car customizations and a ‘Decryptor Rocket League Keys.’ The latter lets players open any unopened Rocket League Crates in their inventory without a key. There are no exact dates for the release, but expect them to come out after the autumn season.
