Star Wars: The Old Republic to have two updates starting May 14

  • Star Wars: The Old Republic players are going to be experiencing some slight changes of their MMO starting from in a few days.

According into a post by community manager Eric Musco on the SWTOR Credits for sale action's official forums, there will probably be two updates to the action. Both game update 2.1 and two.2 will fix bugs and add general improvements towards the interface and consumer experience.

More specifically, Update 2.1 "brings a whole lot of customization and convenience features to the action which are actually requested for quit some time, like character name changes etc." As for Update 2.2, Musco was coy. "Even though I can't yet inform you what is in Game Update 2.2, you get two Game Updates within that SWTOR Credits period. I will say this: Game Update 2.2 does not have any new Cartel Market features," he stated.

Update 2.1 is going to be out on May 14 while update 2.2 will likely be out on June 11. For more info, browse the forum post.Star Wars: The Old Republic's monthly revenue has doubled since its switch with a free-to-play model, and it has added 1.7 million new players.
