Netmarble's latest game Tera M helps push revenues to $567 mill

  • Netmarble has released its financials because of its Q4 FY17 for that three months ending December 31st 2017.
    The company posted revenues of $567 million for that quarter, up 33% year-on-year. However, profits fell by 32.9% year-on-year to $49.9 million.
    Operating costs for your quarter rose to $482 million, up 51.7% year-on-year. A major cost to the quarter was Tera Items XBOX the marketing behind Lineage 2 Revolution, which has been launched in the West throughout the period.
    Big hitters
    Lineage 2 Revolution still generates by far the most revenue for just a single game, comprising 39% of Netmarble's revenues with the quarter. Kabam's Marvel Contest of Champions comprised 14% of revenues, while Jam City's Cookie Jam generated 6% of total revenues.
    Overall, seven with the company's games generated 79% of the total revenues. Everybody's Marble, Marvel Future Fight, Seven Knights along with the recently launched Tera M all included 5% of revenues each.
    Lineage 2 Revolution's Western launch is Tera Items PS4 apparently going well to date, having cleared five million downloads in their first 50 times release. Overall, the sport is estimated to get generated $980 million in 2017.
